We have a tradition before our Thanksgiving meal where before we eat everyone present has the chance to pray/meditate/acknowledge what they are most grateful for. We go around the table in this way until everyone has had their say. This year there were 11 of us.
As I reflected on it, my top acknowledgments were that I was most thankful for…
1. My spiritual awareness.
2. My wife, children and family
You know I love Thanksgiving because it gives everyone (even if you don’t celebrate the Holiday) a chance to reflect and feel grateful. I love gratefulness because it seems that so many of life’s burdens are lifted when you discover the gratitude spirit percolating within. Certainly, a renewed perspective is achieved and, at least for me, I am revivified.
As you are valued members of my extended family of clients, customers and subscribers I invite you to comment and express those things for which you are most grateful.
Will you come and partake in this Thanksgiving tradition? I look forward to reading your comments….
